Septic System Installations

Installing a properly functioning septic system is critical. With our knowledge and experience, we assist you in choosing a compatible system for your specific needs. Designing and Site Evaluations

According to Texas law, permits are required for septic systems installed on properties of less than ten acres. Some counties require septic system installation permits regardless of property size. You are encouraged to check with your counties to verify requirements. 

Site evaluations and septic system designs are required and must be completed by a licensed site evaluator and designer. These required documents are then submitted to the county’s Designated Representative (D.R.) or TCEQ for approval. Permits are issued upon approval.

The State of Texas regulating agency, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), requires all septic systems to be compatible with soil types, topography, and other regulations. Consulting with a licensed septic system designer and site evaluator prior to installing a septic system can save you from having an illegal septic system or an inferior product installed.

Maintenance Provider and Repairs

Many counties require maintenance contracts for septic systems. Maintenance contracts are required to comply with TCEQ and county regulations. A maintenance provider is licensed to repair septic systems in accordance with manufacturer standards and TCEQ regulations.


Septic System Inspections

Septic system inspections are important and helpful to buyers when purchasing properties with existing septic systems. Lenders may require septic system inspections prior to financing.

     A septic system inspection helps to ensure:

  • The septic system on a property is appropriate for the soil type and location
  • The septic system components are present and properly functioning according to the system type
  • The septic system, on the date of inspection, is functioning properly and not causing a nuisance or polluting groundwater
  • Determines if the septic system requires any maintenance or repairs
